Eligibility

Graduation must be fully passed i.e All Semesters All Papers. However Apearing/Reappered Students may also give Entrance Test but at the time of Admission Form (July-2019), their Graduation must be passed in all semesters.

M.Sc Computer Sciences Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
M.Sc Information Technology Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
M.Sc Mathematics Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects
M.Sc Applied Mathematics Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects
M.Sc Physics Bachelor’s degree with Physics as one of the elective subjects.
M.Sc Biotechnology Bachelor’s degree in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/ Technology, 4 years B.Sc; MBBS or BDS with an aggregate of at least 55% marks.
M.Sc Zoology Bachelor’s degree with Zoology as one of the subjects.
M.Sc Botony Bachelor’s degree with Botony as one of the subjects.
M.Sc Microbiology Bachelor’s degree in Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/ Technology 4 years B.Sc; MBBS or BDS
MCA Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
MBA Business Administration Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. OR Passed final examination from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Cost and Works Accountants or Company Secretaries. OR Passed AMIE (Engineering) AND Appeared in the CMAT/ CAT/ MAT.
MBA Tourism & Hospitality Management Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. OR Passed final examination from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Cost and Works Accountants or Company Secretaries. OR Passed AMIE (Engineering) AND Appeared in the CMAT/ CAT/ MAT.
MA Economics Bachelor’s degree with Economics/ Mathematics as one of the subjects or B.Com/ BBA/ Any other degree from a recognized university
MA Arabic Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university with Arabic as one of the subjects
MA Islamic Studies Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
MA Urdu Bachelor’s degree of equivalent from a recognized university with Urdu as one of the subjects
MA English Bachelor’s degree with English Literature as one of the subjects from a recognized university
M.ED Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline along with a B.Ed degree

Exams Centers

Centre of Entrance Test: Entrance Test shall be conducted in the centers to be constituted in Rajori City. The examination centre once allotted shall not be changed at the later stage.

Wards of Defence service personnel who are permanent residents of J&K State, and candidates belonging to weak and under-privileged classes as notified by the State vide latest SRO.: 02%

Reservation of seats in Masters programme in Biotechnology is as per norms of the HRD Ministry, Government of India.

For wards of permanent employees of BGSB University 01 seat is reserved in each programme which is supernumerary i.e. over and above the number of seats allotted to the course. The General Category seats for each Academic programme include seats allotted on Merit and those in the Reserved Categories.

Admission to all teaching programmes offered by the University is available to candidates from all States of India.
